About us

We are brothers, Ted and Andy Scafidi, and we bring our love of family and food to Newton Highlands. With over 50 years of combined experience in the food industry, we aim to serve fresh, top-quality, locally sourced products prepared on the grill, from the deli and the market, with take-home entrees and side items made to serve your family.

Our family history began when our grandparents, Salvatore and Vincenza, 'Jennie', arrived with their own families from Sicily in 1907. Both families were living in Waltham when they met in 1915. A year later they were married and in 1917 the young couple had their first child. From 1917 to 1946, Jennie gave birth to an amazing 18 children!
